About Celebrate A Life

Celebrate A Life offers a unique opportunity for you to honour a loved one during the holiday season — a difficult time of year for many dealing with grief. The annual event has become a tradition for many families in our community since 1985. Each year hundreds of tributes are hung on our Celebrate A Life Trees.

Victoria Hospice invites you to remember your loved ones by hanging a personalized tribute card.

Each year, Celebrate A Life raises over $20,000 for end-of-life care. Roughly 50 percent of Victoria Hospice's annual operating costs are funded through community donations. Funds are raised from a variety of sources, including private donations, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships and fundraising events such as Celebrate A Life.
